Taking Care of Members
Life is full of transitions. There are moments of celebration and moments of pain, hardship, and grief. The Scripture commands us to “Share with the saints in their needs…Rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep” (Romans 12:13, 15). This is why we have instituted a Member Care Ministry division of our church to care for the members of our church family.
For any of the services below, please contact Dennis Brooks, Director of Member Care via email email@example.com or phone 469.309.9401.
NOTE: We will do our best to serve you based on our ability and capacity. If we are not able, we will seek to refer you to Christian agencies or organizations that can possibly meet your need.
1. Funerals – Plan, preside over, or preach homegoing services for our members. Email or call us to check on the availability of our pastor(s) or licensed ministers.
2. Hospital and Home Visitation – Phone calls to those who are sick or having procedures done (in-person visitations will occur once COVID restrictions are lifted).
3. Baby Blessing – We pray for newborns and for the parent(s) whom God has entrusted to raise them up in the fear and admonition of the Lord Jesus.
4. Benevolence – Short-term financial and food assistance for our members (a form must be submitted to the Member Care ministry for review).
