Pastor Dennis Brooks
As our Care Ministry Leader, I want to thank you for visiting Harvest Fellowship online, and I hope to meet you and your family soon.
I am committed to being sensitive to the needs of each person in our church family and following the biblical mandate to care for one another (1 Cor. 12:22-26, ESV)
Relying on God and His power, Harvest strives to nurture growth and help people maintain spiritual, emotional, relational, and physical well-being so they can thrive and be effective where He has called them. Please feel free to contact me anytime.
Dennis is a native of El Paso, TX, and has been a resident of the Dallas area for the last 54 years. He came to know Jesus as Lord and Savior while attending church with his wife and got baptized in 1985. In 1999, Dennis was called to the ministry while attending Antioch Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. Karry D. Wesley.
Dennis graduated from Dallas College, where he received his Associate of Arts. Currently, he is pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Ministries at Southern Bible Institute and College and will graduate with his BA in May.
Dennis utilizes his gifts of empathy and administration while serving as our Pastor of Member Care, where he oversees milestones such as weddings, baptisms, and baby dedications. He also plans member funerals and handles prayer requests.
Dennis and his wife Nancy have been married since 1977, have two sons and a daughter, and reside in DeSoto, TX. When Dennis is not at church, he travels with his wife, plays board games (primarily bid whiz and dominoes), or visits his children and grandchildren.
Dennis’ proudest accomplishment is that his children trust in the Lord Jesus as their savior, and each is self-reliant and independent.
