Anyone remember moving into your first apartment or being a first-time home buyer? Maybe it was just me, but was anybody else surprised that you had to pay a security deposit for that unit or a downpayment for that house? Some of you were probably more prepared than I was for the move into that new space and the financial responsibilities that came with it. 

As many of you already know, we are prayerfully looking to move as a church family. We are not moving - as the saying goes - "to keep up with the Joneses." We are moving because we need additional space

1) to more effectively facilitate our service to our local church family (especially our family ministries: preschool, kids, and students),

2) to make accommodations for the people God is saving and adding to our church, and

3) to provide a more spacious and multi-functional facility that can be strategically used for the good of the community it will be located in and for the advancement of the gospel of Jesus to the glory of God.

But in order for this move to happen, we must prepare for it. Here are two ways that we are asking you to join us in this effort:

First, we are asking you to pray that God would lead us to the right building, in a prime location to continue our mission to lead people to trust and obey Jesus. 

Second, we are asking you to give a monthly contribution in addition to your regular giving. Suggested giving amounts: $200 per member or $400 for a married couple who gives jointly (i.e., a two income-earning household). If you are not able to give these amounts in addition to your regular giving, please just give what you can each month.

Our goal is to raise $500,000 over the next two and a half years to either pay the downpayment for a building or to renovate a building in the event one is  gifted to us (which is what we are praying for).

Can we count on you to join us in this effort? Let's PREPARE now for what God has already set aside for us in the future. By the grace of God, we can do this together.
